The Enola Gay is a Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber, named after Enola Gay Tibbets, the mother of the pilot, Colonel Paul Tibbets. On 6 August 1945, piloted by Tibbets and Robert A. Lewis during the final stages of World War II, it became the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb.

The Berlin Wall was a guarded concrete barrier that physically and ideologically divided Berlin from 1961 to 1989. Construction of the wall was commenced by the German Democratic Republic on 13 August 1961.

A military alliance of communist nations in eastern Europe. Organized in 1955 in answer to NATO, the Warsaw Pact included Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and the Soviet Union.

The principle that the US should give support to countries or peoples threatened by Soviet forces or Communist insurrection. First expressed in 1947 by US President Truman in a speech to Congress seeking aid for Greece and Turkey, the doctrine was seen by the Communists as an open declaration of the Cold War.
Each of a series of Soviet artificial satellites, the first of which (launched on October 4, 1957) was the first satellite to be placed in orbit.

The Berlin Blockade was one of the first major international crises of the Cold War. During the multinational occupation of post–World War II Germany, the Soviet Union blocked the Western Allies’ railway, road, and canal access to the sectors of Berlin under Western control.

A political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.

The Bay of Pigs Invasion was a failed landing operation on the southwestern coast of Cuba in 1961 by Cuban exiles who opposed Fidel Castro’s Cuban Revolution

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, also called the North Atlantic Alliance, is an intergovernmental military alliance between 30 European and North American countries. The organization implements the North Atlantic Treaty that was signed on 4 April 1949.

A proxy war is an armed conflict between two states or non-state actors which act on the instigation or on behalf of other parties that are not directly involved in the hostilities.

The KGB, translated in English as the Committee for State Security, was the main security agency for the Soviet Union from 13 March 1954 until 6 November 1991, when it split into the Federal Security Service and the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation.

The Central Intelligence Agency, known informally as “The Agency” and “The Company”, is a civilian foreign intelligence service of the federal government of the United States

The Space Race was an informal 20th-century competition between two Cold War rivals, the Soviet Union and the United States, to achieve firsts in spaceflight capability. It had its origins in the ballistic missile-based nuclear arms race between the two nations following World War II.

The Cuban Missile Crisis, also known as the October Crisis of 1962, the Caribbean Crisis, or the Missile Scare, was a 1 month, 4 days confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union which escalated into an international crisis when American deployments of missiles in Italy and Turkey were matched by Soviet deployments of similar ballistic missiles in Cuba.

This is the practice of making accusations of subversion or treason, especially when related to communism, without any proper regard for evidence.

In 1955, as decolonization swept the globe following World War II, delegates from 29 countries met in Bandung, Indonesia, and argued that developing countries should embrace neutralism, abstain from allying with either the U.S or the U.S.S.R, and join together in support of national self-determination against colonialism and imperialism. In 1961 the resulting Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) was founded.

And the Soviets began the Warsaw Pact to try to fight it, though they didn’t Really battle each other a single time 

Through they proxy wars, millions of people suffered and died 

Vietnam, they didn’t wanna get along Dropping bombs, testing They own Nuclear arms, it was Something, yea Yea, I told you nothing, yea, yea, they Fight like death, It’s all for nothing

The U.S. backed Chinese army but Swiftly got defeated, by the People’s Republic of China then they quickly Greeted, by the Soviets, America Competed, then another Civil War had Kicked off this ones in Korea 

The expansion, hope to contain Communist and its advancements 

Of the policies, they we did not really Agree with, then another race rose way Up to the stars, that’s the Space Race, Sputnik satellites in charge

Now it’s safe too say, fire really start to Get ignited, when the U.S. backed the 

Bay of Pigs and paid for all that fighting 

Tried to overthrow, Castro, but we failed We not invited, then the Soviet’s Responded with the Cuban Missile Crisis

Nuclear weapons, ready to strike on Every nation, it’s the closest that we Ever came to world annihilation, so President Regan pulled up, quick on The town, Mr. Gorbachev, why don’t You go and tear this wall down!
